By fundraising for Trail Challenge for Parkerville Children and Youth Care you will make a huge different to vulnerable children, youth and families affected by abuse. The funds raised from the Trail Challenge for Parkerville Children and Youth Care will go towards the building of a new Stan Perron Child Advocacy Centre located in Midland.

Here are 6 tips to help get your fundraising started:
1. Sponsor Yourself
Start by making a donation to yourself. Giving yourself a head start will encourage others to donate to the cause. You can complete a trail with a friend you were due to catch up with and donate the cost of a cup of coffee.
2. Create a Fundraising Page
Create a fundraising page and keep everyone updated with your fundraising progress and efforts. Make this page your own by uploading photos of your fundraising activities and who you are completing the trail with.
3. Utilise Social Media
Social media is another great way to keep everyone up to date with your progress and completed trails. Share a story about why you are fundraising and share a fundraising goal.
4. Host an Event
Organising an event whether it’s a morning tea at work, garage sale or free dress day is fun for everyone and are effective in getting large groups of people involved in your fundraising effort.
5. Ask Everyone
Spread the word through your personal network and tell them about your fundraising efforts. Ask friends, family, colleagues, clients, suppliers, teamates to donate to the cause.
6. Every Dollar Counts
Remember that every donation big or small will make a difference. Make sure to thank every person who donates and share with them your successes from Trail Challenge for Parkerville Children and Youth Care 2018.
